How do integrations work?
Connect your store, messaging channels and work tools to agenola so the assistant and your flows can work with them.
What integrations are for
An integration connects agenola to another system you use. Once connected, the assistant can read a product from your store at the moment it is asked, requests opened in chat can land in your help desk, your team can be notified in Slack, or a flow step can add a row to Google Sheets.
Store data (products, prices, stock) is not copied into agenola; it is read from the provider when a visitor asks.
Where to find the Integrations page
Open “Integrations” in the left menu. There are two tabs at the top: “Catalog” and “Action statistics”.
- Use the menu on the left to pick “All”, “Connected” or a category: E-commerce, Messaging, Support, Work apps, Verification, Shipping, Marketing and CRM, Reviews & loyalty, Analytics, Automation…
- Type a brand name or a task (“shipping”, “reviews”) in the “Search integrations…” box at the top right.
- The badge on each card shows its state: “Connected”, “Available”, “Soon” or “Needs attention”. Providers marked “Soon” are not available yet and cannot be opened.
Click a card to open the provider's page. The “What it does” section at the bottom lists what agenola actually does with that provider, under “Reads”, “Actions” and “Triggers”.
Two ways to connect: one click or a form
- One-click connection (OAuth): you press the provider's button, approve on the provider's own consent screen and come back to agenola. You don't copy any key or token. Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, BigCommerce, Zendesk, Gorgias, Intercom, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Trello, Meta Pixel, TikTok and the Google apps connect this way.
- Form connection: you enter a key or credential from the provider's dashboard. WhatsApp, Twilio, Freshdesk, AfterShip, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Omnisend, Customer.io, Segment, Judge.me, Yotpo, Azure DevOps and Verifigo connect this way. Most forms test the details before saving them.
With Telegram the bot is added from inside Telegram; with Zapier you generate a key in agenola and paste it into Zapier.
Keys you enter are stored encrypted and never shown again. To change one, enter a new value and press “Update details” (or “Update key”).
Who can connect
Connecting, updating and removing a connection needs manage permission: only the Owner and Admins can do it. Agents and Observers can see provider pages but not the connect buttons; the page says “Only the workspace owner and admins can change this connection.”
Connections belong to the workspace: once connected, every flow in the workspace can use it.
Where a connection is used
- As a flow step: in the flow editor, under “Add step” → “Integrations”, each provider has its own card. The “Integration Action” step is invisible to visitors; it does the task you chose and continues from its “When done” or “If it fails” exit.
- In the AI Assistant step: in the step's “Integrations” tab you turn an integration on and choose which of its actions the assistant may use; the assistant calls them itself during the conversation.
- For notifications: you choose which notification goes to Slack, Microsoft Teams or Telegram on Account → “Alerts and notifications”.
- For measurement: Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok and Google Ads are turned on in each flow's “Measurement settings” tab.
- For requests: if a help desk is connected, requests opened in chat are also forwarded to it.
Limits, removing and reconnecting
- One help desk (Zendesk, Gorgias, Intercom or Freshdesk) and one review provider (Judge.me or Yotpo) can be connected per workspace. WooCommerce, Magento and BigCommerce also connect one store per workspace.
- To prevent abuse, flow steps and the assistant together can run at most 20 deletions/cancellations and 100 sends from your accounts (such as WhatsApp, SMS, calls and email) per workspace per hour.
- To disconnect, press “Disconnect” (or “Remove connection”) on the provider's page and confirm. Flow steps that use that provider then take their “If it fails” exit.
- If the page asks you to reconnect, the permission may have been revoked or may have expired. Remove the connection and connect again with the same steps.
