How do I connect Verifigo for document verification?

Have the Document step in your flows read and verify uploaded documents with your own Verifigo account.

What it gives you

The document a visitor uploads in a flow's Document step (such as a tax certificate or ID card) is sent to Verifigo to be checked, and the fields read from it are pre-filled for the visitor to confirm. Documents can be up to 20 MB: an image, PDF or Word document. The result is awaited for up to 90 seconds while the document is processed.

Without a connection, the Document step keeps working with the platform's own account.

Connecting step by step

The Owner or an Admin can do this.

  1. Open the API & Credits section in your Verifigo dashboard.
  2. Click Generate API Key and copy it (it starts with vfg_live_sk_ and is shown only once).
  3. On Integrations → Verifigo, enter https://api.verifigo.ai in “API address”, paste the key in “API key” and press “Connect”.
  4. In the flow editor, open the Document step and choose Verifigo as the “Document service”. “Demo (no service call)” doesn't call any service and is meant for testing.

Security and cost

  • The visitor's document doesn't go from the browser straight to Verifigo; it reaches agenola's server first and is forwarded from there. Your key never reaches the browser.
  • If you enter an unencrypted (http) address, the page warns you: an identity document could be read over an unencrypted connection. Use https whenever possible.
  • Each analysis costs credits from your Verifigo account; testing the connection costs none.

Disconnecting

Press “Remove connection”. Documents are then read with the platform account again.
