How do I send events to Zapier?
Send new request, unanswered question and tool failure events to Zapier (or tools like Make and n8n), and build the rest yourself.
What it gives you
Events in agenola are delivered to your Zap, and you use them to build things like a spreadsheet row, a CRM record or a team message. There are four events:
- “New Support Ticket”: as soon as a request is opened. It carries the subject, text, name, contact, flow, urgency, summary and a link to the request in the panel.
- “Unanswered Question”: once, when the same question the assistant couldn't answer is asked for the third time.
- “Tool Failing” and “Tool Recovered”: once when a tool's failed calls cross the threshold, and once when it works again.
This feature is included in the Growth and Pro plans; if your plan doesn't include it, the page says “This feature is not included in your plan.”
Setting it up step by step
- On Integrations → Zapier, press “Generate key” in the “API keys” section and copy the value; it is shown only once.
- In Zapier, create a new Zap and pick agenola as the trigger app.
- Paste the key when connecting the account; Zapier verifies it against this workspace.
- Choose one of the four triggers and turn the Zap on. While the Zap is being set up, the latest requests and unanswered questions are read as sample data.
- Once the Zap is on, the subscription appears under “Active subscriptions”; it is removed when you turn the Zap off.
Keys and subscriptions
- A key is shown only when it is created. If you lose it, “Revoke” it and generate a new one; Zaps connected with a revoked key stop working.
- The “Last used” column shows when a key was last used.
- “Delete subscription” removes a subscription; the Zap stays on in Zapier but receives no events. Turning it off and on again reconnects it.
- Only the Owner and Admins can generate or revoke keys.
Make, n8n or your own system
The same endpoints work with any tool; the details are in the “Make, n8n or your own system” section of the page. You send the key in an Authorization: Bearer header and subscribe a target address. The target must be https; private network addresses are rejected. When an event happens, a one-item JSON array is posted to the address.
Not included yet
- Writing back from Zapier to agenola (creating tickets, knowledge entries) is not available yet.
- A failed delivery is not retried. If Zapier has closed the subscription, the subscription is removed.
