How do I connect my Magento store?
Install the agenola module on your store, enter its address and approve in the Magento Admin; the assistant and your flows then work with your store.

- The agenola module must be installed on your store. This is done once, usually by your store's developer or agency with Composer.
- Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 and later is supported. Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service is not supported.
- The store must be reachable from the internet over https, including /rest/.
What the Magento connection gives you
It connects your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce store. When a visitor asks about a product, the assistant queries your store at that moment; the catalog is not copied, and prices and stock are what your storefront shows.
When you connect, an assistant flow named “Magento Asistanı” is created and the module adds the assistant button to your storefront. The button is hidden on checkout pages by default.
Connecting step by step
- On Integrations → Magento, enter your store's main address in “Store address” (e.g. mystore.com).
- Press “Connect”.
- The agenola page opens in your Magento Admin (Marketing → agenola AI Sales Assistant). Check the workspace and the person asking, then approve.
- Back in agenola you see “Store connected. An assistant flow was created and the assistant button was added to your storefront.”
The module creates an integration named “agenola” in your store. The connection uses its credentials, so it keeps working if the person who connected leaves the team.
After connecting
- “Storefronts showing the assistant” and the “Refresh storefronts” button re-read the addresses if your store views changed.
- “Edit the assistant flow” opens the created flow.
- The assistant reads: “Search products”, “Product details”, “Categories”, “Store info”.
- Your flows can use a wide range of Magento step actions: products, categories and attributes; inventory; orders (get, list, add comment, cancel, hold), invoices, shipments and credit memos; customers; carts, cart price rules and coupons; CMS pages and blocks. For a visitor's own order there are also “Get order status” and “Send order request”.
Actions that can't be undone (deleting, cancelling, creating invoices and credit memos) need a confirmation checkbox on the step and run under an hourly limit; see Order lookup, cancellations and refunds.
Not supported yet: a separate catalog and language per store view (the assistant reads from the default view); Adobe Commerce-only features (RMA, gift cards, store credit, B2B); faceted search counts.
Troubleshooting and disconnecting
- “A firewall in front of your store is blocking agenola's requests”: allow our requests to /rest/.
- “This connection was made with an older permission list”: update the module and reconnect the store.
- To disconnect, press “Remove connection”. The “agenola” integration in the store is deleted and the button disappears from the storefront. If the store can't be reached, delete the integration yourself under System → Integrations in your Magento Admin.
- You can change the button's visibility on checkout pages under Stores → Configuration → agenola in your Magento Admin.
