Avatar library: choosing, hearing and duplicating avatars

Get to know the built-in avatars, try them speaking, create a copy with a background and assign an avatar to a flow.

The Avatars page

Open “Avatars” from the menu. Every avatar in your workspace is listed as a card: built-in avatars (with a “Built-in” badge) and the ones you added. Each card shows a preview, the name and the voice (male or female).

The built-in avatars include 3D avatars in several outfits and 2D avatars. 3D avatars talk with hand and arm gestures, and their lips move with the voice.

Hearing an avatar

  1. Press “Speak” on the card.
  2. Choose the “Speaking language”: Turkish, English or Arabic.
  3. You can change the sample under “Text to speak”.

The avatar reads the text aloud. Every member can use this.

Assigning an avatar to a flow

You choose which avatar a flow talks with in the flow editor: open the flow, pick the avatar from the avatar card on the “Design” tab and save. See design and avatar.

Creating a copy with a background

To use an avatar with a background that suits your brand, create a copy of it:

  1. Choose “Duplicate” from the card's three-dot menu.
  2. Set a name (up to 60 characters) and a voice (male or female).
  3. Choose a background: “Solid color”, “Gradient” or “No background”. You can also add a “Background image” (PNG, JPEG or WebP).
  4. Save. The copy appears as a new card in the library.

Built-in avatars can't be edited directly; create a copy to make changes.

Role and plan

Creating copies, editing, deleting and importing avatars require the owner or admin role.

Adding a new avatar (a copy or an import) is the Pro plan's “Custom avatar upload” feature. Avatars you added earlier keep working if you downgrade.
