Uploading your own avatar (GLB or Spine)
File requirements and steps to import your own 3D (GLB) or 2D (Spine) avatar.
Who can upload?
Uploading your own avatar is the Pro plan's “Custom avatar upload” feature and requires the owner or admin role. If your plan doesn't include it, you're asked to upgrade during the upload.
3D avatar (GLB)
- On the “Avatars” page, press “Import GLB”.
- Choose a single .glb file (up to 20 MB).
- Set a name, voice and background, then save.
For the file to be able to talk it needs:
- A Ready Player Me or Mixamo skeleton.
- Oculus viseme morph targets for lip-sync (14 targets such as viseme_PP, viseme_FF and viseme_aa).
If the file doesn't meet these conditions, the upload is rejected and you're told what's missing.
2D avatar (Spine)
- Press “Import rig”.
- Choose three files: the skeleton (.skel), the atlas (.atlas or .txt) and the texture (.png).
- Set a name, voice and background, then save.
The Spine file must be exported as binary and include idle, talking and blink loops plus mouth poses 1 to 21.
After uploading
Your avatar appears as a card in the library; try it with “Speak” and pick it in the flow editor. Edit or delete it from the three-dot menu. An avatar can't be deleted while another copy uses the same files.
