A Magento AI chatbot that talks

agenola is an AI chatbot for Magento that answers shoppers out loud through a lip-synced avatar, or in text if they prefer. It quotes the price and stock your storefront shows, looks up orders after verifying the shopper, and builds a cart ready for checkout. It works with Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce 2.4.4 and later.

An AI chatbot, not a rule-based one

Classic Magento chatbots follow button menus and keyword rules, and stop at the first question nobody scripted. agenola reads the question as the shopper writes or says it, looks up your live catalog and their order, and answers in the shopper's language: English, Turkish or Arabic. When it can't help, it hands the conversation to your team instead of guessing.

The price your storefront shows

The assistant takes the price Magento calculates for the storefront, including your discounts and price rules, so it never quotes 59.90 for a product your storefront lists at 49.90. For configurable products, size and colour combinations are read with their stock. Everything comes from your store the moment a visitor asks; nothing is copied to agenola.

Why a module

Every Magento store runs on its own server, and there is no central consent screen like Shopify's. The agenola module fills that gap: it brings the connection to an approval page in your Admin, creates an integration named “agenola” with a fixed permission list, and adds the assistant button to your storefront. The button is hidden on checkout pages by default. The connection belongs to the integration, so it keeps working even if the person who connected it leaves your team.

Order questions, with identity verification

The assistant shows an order only when the order number matches the email or phone on that order: status, items, shipment tracking. If the customer asks to cancel, return, exchange or change the address, the request is added to the order as an admin comment the customer doesn't see. The order itself is not changed; your team decides.

Good to know

Your shipping and refund policies are not imported from Magento automatically; you add them to the knowledge base as a note or a file. The assistant reads from your default store view; a separate catalog and language per store view is not available yet. Adobe Commerce as a Cloud Service is not supported.

  3. 3Approve the connection on the agenola page that opens in your Magento Admin.
  4. 4Set the assistant's character and greeting.
