How do I publish a flow and share it with customers?
A saved flow is live right away. Share its public link, connect it to WhatsApp, Telegram or SMS, or add it to your website or store.
Saving is publishing
Flows have no separate “publish” button: the moment you click “Save” in the editor, your changes reach the live flow and everyone who opens the link sees the new version. So try big changes first:
- Click “Preview” in the editor. The flow is saved and opened fresh in a new tab.
- Go through the flow from start to finish like a visitor; check different languages and devices.
- If you spot a problem, go back to the editor, fix it and save again. It's best to clear the canvas warnings (“Problems in {n} steps”) before you share the flow.
The public link
Every flow has a public link. On the “Flows” page, click “Copy public link” on the flow card; the link is copied to the clipboard. Put it behind a button on your website, in an email, in a QR code or in a social media post.
- When a visitor opens the link, the flow starts in the browser with no app needed; the avatar talks and the visitor answers by typing or with the microphone.
- Fix the language with a prefix after the domain: /en/ or /ar/ (for example …/en/<flow id>). Without a prefix, the visitor's browser language or the flow language is used.
- Add utm tags to tell campaigns apart (for example ?utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=spring). You see the results on the Analytics tab.
If you delete the flow, the link stops working. The link is public, so keep that in mind for flows that handle sensitive information.
WhatsApp, Telegram and SMS channels
Connect a flow to a messaging channel so that it replies to the messages customers send there. Channels are connected on the Integrations page, and for each account you choose the “Flow that replies”:
- WhatsApp: connected with a phone number ID and access token. See WhatsApp integration.
- Telegram: create a bot with “Create a bot in Telegram”. See Telegram integration.
- Twilio (SMS): connected with your Twilio account and number. See Twilio SMS.
Several accounts can be connected; each replies with the flow you chose. If the workspace has no flow yet, create one first. Only the Owner and Admins can connect and remove channels.
Adding it to your website
To add the assistant to your own website as a button that opens in the corner, open the menu on the flow card (three dots) on the “Flows” page and choose “Add to website”. This is available on the Growth and Pro plans.
- Pick your site under “Website”. The first time, choose “Add a new website”, type your domain (e.g. example.com) and click “Add website”. Both the www and non-www versions are added.
- Under “Layout”, choose a chat box in the bottom corner or a large window in the middle of the screen.
- Click “Copy code” and paste it once in your site template just before the </body> tag. The assistant appears on every page, and the conversation continues as the visitor moves between pages.
The code only works on the domains you added; it won't open on any other site. If your site has another domain, add it as a separate website. Adding a website requires admin permission.
If you have a store, the integrations are easier: when you connect a Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento or BigCommerce store, the assistant is added to the storefront and runs with the store's own flow. On Shopify, for example, you turn the assistant on under App embeds in your theme editor, and “Edit the assistant flow” on the store page opens that flow in the editor.

Common questions
- Why don't I see my change on the link? You may not have saved. Click “Save” and refresh the page.
- Does the preview reuse my earlier test? No. Each preview starts a fresh session, so use “Preview” every time you want a clean test.
- Who can publish? The Owner and Admins, who can save flows. Agents and Observers can copy the link and open the preview but can't save changes.
