How do I read flow analytics?

Start, completion and success rates, the step funnel, traffic sources, the conversation list and evaluations on one tab.

Where is it?

Open the “Analytics” tab in the flow editor; the header reads “{flow name} · Analytics” and “Back to editor” takes you back. The checklist icon (“Conversations”) on the flow list opens the conversation list directly.

Every role can view analytics. Use the date range at the top to pick “Today”, “Yesterday”, “Last 7 days”, “Last 30 days”, “Last 90 days”, “All time” or “Custom range”.

If nobody has started the flow yet, you see the “No one has started the flow yet” intro; once you share the link, data collects here.

Overview

The top cards: “Flow starts”, “Opens” (with the start rate), “Completion rate”, “Success rate”, “Median completion time” and, if evaluation is on, “Avg. fit score”.

Below them:

  • The “Flow starts over time” chart.
  • “Step funnel: where it was left midway”: how many visitors left at each step, and the median time spent on that step. Conversations still in progress are not included.
  • The “Starts by hour and day” heatmap (the busiest slot is shown too).
  • Device, language, “Country distribution”, “Traffic source” and “Campaign” breakdowns. Add ?utm_source=instagram&utm_campaign=… to the link and the source is broken down here; Meta, Google and TikTok append their own click id, so the platform is usually known even without utm.
  • “Answer distribution”: how often each option was picked in Selection steps.
  • “Outcomes”: conversations that ended successfully, unsuccessfully, or without an outcome set. If your end steps have no outcome, a “Mark end steps” link appears.

Handoff, usage and integration cards

  • “Handed to a person”: tickets opened from the flow.
  • “Usage”: credits used and credits per conversation.
  • “Unanswered questions”: questions the assistant couldn't find in the knowledge base. They add up until closed, regardless of the date range. Use “Answer in the knowledge base” to add the missing information.
  • “Integration calls”: calls the flow made to external systems and their success rate.

Conversations

In the “Conversations” view each start is a row: visitor, contact, status (“Completed”, “Left midway”, “In progress”), date, duration and location. Search names and answers, and filter by status, source, location and “Left midway at”. “Clear filters” resets them.

Open a row to see the answers, documents and, if any, the document summary and cross-check report; “Show transcript” shows the whole conversation.

Evaluations

If evaluation is on, the “Evaluations” view lists the scored conversations, the average score and the score distribution. For details see AI evaluation.
